Sweet 100 List

October 12, 2008 · 3 Comments

I haven’t done a list before, but since I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, I decided Veggie Girl’s Sweet 100 List was a great place to start.

First, here are the rules:

1.) Copy this list into your site, including the instructions!

2.) Bold all of the sweets you’ve eaten–or make them a different type color.

3.) Cross out any of them that you’d never ever eat.

4.) Consider anything that is not bold or crossed out your “To Do” List.

5.) Optional: Post a comment here linking to your results–or just post a comment letting us know how many you’ve tried, or what you’re going to try next!

And now, here is…

Hi Melissa! Congrats on the new site!!! Alfajores are latin american and they are the national cookies of Argentina. An alfajore is actually a cookie sandwich traditionally consisting of dulce de leche between shortbread and sometimes covered in chocolate, although there are variations w/ jam and different coatings. You can buy them homemade (in NYC at Tisserie or Gusto Organics) or packaged and the most famous ones are from a coffee chain called Havanna (similar to Starbucks in AR).

p.s. I doubt you needed to know all that, but they used to be my favorite packaged cookies so I just thought I should share my expertise…hehe.

Thanks VG. That is so cool. I rarely meet any Gold earners!

    RosedeBoheme,

I will have to check out Alfajores, they sound mouthwatering! I haven’t been to Gusto Organics, but it seems like a place I would love.
