A look back at some of my fav posts of ‘08

January 4, 2009 · 7 Comments

I read so many wonderful blogs, and hundreds of posts have influenced me or made me smile over the last year.  It would be impossible to list them all, so I put together a list of some of the posts that really stick out in my mind as being particularly helpful, useful, inspiring, making me laugh or just reflect for a moment longer than the average post.

Carrots N Cake

Chocolate Pumpkin Loaf

I have made this twice and love it!  Plus, it changed my mind about canned pumpkin after a few unsuccessful attempt to use it.

Meals from the Girl in the Little Black Dress

How I Fit into My Little Black Dress interview

  I love the fashion/fitness combo.

Kath Eats

The Coolest

I loved reading about all the bloggers meeting up for the wonderful conference.  And Kath was so gracious in this post! I would say this Eggplant Stew with Honey Raisin Polentawas a runner up post because I made this for xmas eve dinner.  I used parmesan cous cous instead of polenta and one eggplant and one zucchini, the recipe served 6 with leftovers.

Veggie Girl

The Big Reveal!

I have had the honor of meeting the infamous VG and it was great to “see” her again and get a look at baking behind the scenes!

Angela from Oh She Glows

My Road to Health series

So inspiring and helpful! I love this blog for it’s variety of tips on health, fitness, beauty and all the gorgeous photos!

Running Update #13 Take a Run with Betsy

Such a cool idea!

Suite Apple Pie

Spinach Noodles

Rawdorable

Red, Ripe and Blueberry.    I love Shannon’s super detailed, delicious creative posts and this was one of my favs.

Trying to Heal

The Perfect Fit

Beautiful written, and so relatable for me personally.  Over Christmas, I actually had a couple hundred dollars credit to a boutique in Albany and I spent at least an hour trying on Sevens (aren’t these supposed to look awesome on everyone?), Joe’s Jeans, Rock and Republic, Citizens of Humanity jeans…I still have the credit, no jeans.

Chandra from Chandra’s Shenanigan’s

RAGNAR

I just mentioned how much I love this post, clearly a fav.

Roni’s Weigh

LOVE THEM!

About

I also love Meghann’s generous and useful blogging 101 series!

This is a really inspiring story and this page actually makes me go to the gym in the morning when I would rather just stay in bed.

Believe it or not, this took me forever to do!  And there were quite a few I couldn’t find the links to!

Here’s to another year of great blogging.
